
Dr. Si is the Deputy Director of the Public Health Division at the Pacific Community (SPC), leading health programs that support 22 Pacific Island Countries and Territories.
He was previously a Research Fellow at the Boden Institute of Obesity and the Menzies Centre for Health Policy, University of Sydney; NCD Team Leader and Adviser at SPC’s Fiji regional office and New Caledonia headquarters; Director of Public Health in Nauru’s Ministry of Health; and Public Health Physician with international humanitarian organisations in Southeast Asia. A medical doctor (MBBS) with an MPH, and PhD from the University of Sydney, Dr Si brings extensive experience in international public health, publishes peer-reviewed articles, represents SPC in high-level health forums, and provides public health leadership across the Pacific.
