Join DEA's for iDEA2026 at the Melbourne Museum this October 9th and 10th.
Our conference will discuss the links between human and environmental health, exploring ways we can all contribute to make positive change.
The theme this year is "25 years and the next generation", so we will be acknowledging our history, but most importantly looking at how we can contribute to our planets health over the next 25 years. Our planet's health is in a grave state and as an organisation of medical doctors we need to do all we can to help.
Our program includes sessions on the environmental footprint of war, water stewardship, biodiversity and urban development and is curated by our National Student Committee in conjunction with the staff team.
We will elevate First Nations voices, discussing how we can work together to heal country and provide ways to support our mental health in the face of eco-distress.
We will look at sustainability and the need for medical education to ensure our heath workforce is ready to meet the challenges ahead.
Join us for two days workshops, presentations and connection.
