Day 1: September 4th

Health + Climate Forum: Where health and climate meets policy and politics

Location: Parliament House Theatrette

DEA’s Health + Climate Forum will bring together leaders from health, politics, and advocacy to explore the critical intersections between human health and our environment. This timely event will examine the health impacts of current policies on energy, pollution, environmental protection, and climate change - and identify pathways toward a healthier future for our communities and the planet upon which we all depend.

The day will feature keynote addresses from national and international thought leaders, alongside dynamic panel discussions that dive into the evidence, examine current policy frameworks, and explore practical solutions for improving both human and planetary health.

Day 1 tickets currently available at early bird prices of only $120 (normal price is $180). Enter the code Friend to secure your early bird ticket.

Day 2: September 5th

Health + Climate Forum: Solutions and Strategies to treat our planet's health

Location: Old Parliament House

Day 2 sees us move across the road to Old Parliament House for solutions-focused sessions that explore practical, evidence-based strategies to respond to the environmental determinants of health.

We will hear from experts on the planetary health boundaries and modern monetary theory and workshop practical solutions that focus on campaigning, advocacy and prescribing for our planet's health.

Day 3: September 6th (morning only)

Health + Climate Forum: Exploring systems thinking to create change

Location: Old Parliament House

To complete our forum we will discuss systems theory and conduct a Warm Data Lab.

Warm Data Labs are group processes that help people understand how things are interconnected. They make it easier to see patterns in complex systems, even for those unfamiliar with systems theory. This approach supports the development of new ways to respond to today’s societal challenges, sorely needed considering the complexity of solving the problems of supporting health in our changed climate.

Three day passes, include our Friday night cocktail party and are currently available at the early bird price of only $640 (normal price is $750). Enter the code Friend to secure your early bird ticket.
