Doctors are expressing their disappointment after the Federal Government announced its emissions reduction target for 2035 this week, stating that it falls short of adequately safeguarding the health of Australians.
‘Meeting the challenges of climate change is the most important health intervention our Government can take, but today it has failed to deliver on that responsibility,’ DEA Executive Director Dr Kate Wylie said.
