Prior to entering parliament in May 2022, Monique was a paediatric neurologist, medical researcher, and head of neurology at the Royal Children’s Hospital.
She also held professorial appointments at Melbourne and Monash Universities, and has extensive experience in development and licensing of new medications. Monique was elected as an Independent Member for Kooyong to advocate for urgent action on climate change, integrity in politics, and a strong and sustainable economy.
