The Project: Experts warn Australia won’t cope with increasing heat

Doctors for the Environment Australia's Executive Director Dr Kate Wylie was on The Project, talking about climate change and extreme weather, such as the deadly heat we’ve been seeing across the Northern Hemisphere.

“If we’re not prepared we’re not going to cope, and our health system will crumble and that’s going to have big impacts on the health of the people in our country.”

The message is clear: to save lives and protect health, it’s time to prepare for global heating, and it’s time to stop burning greenhouse gases.
