Medscape: Doctors Step Up Against the Climate Health Emergency

Healthcare professionals around the globe are raising awareness, and tackle the health implications, of the climate crisis. While there is no official coordination among these individuals, their combined initiatives are creating a natural global movement driven by the pressing need to alleviate the effects of climate change.

“Today, every medical student in Australia must learn about climate and health. This is significant,” says Dr Kate Wylie, a family physician and executive director of Doctors for the Environment Australia (DEA).
