Geoff Brooks

Geoff joined our Board as its first independent director in 2025.

He brings perspectives and communications expertise founded on a multi-sector career as a senior executive, consultant and specialist in corporate communications, public affairs and marketing.

He is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (GAICD) and a Member of the Institute of Community Directors Australia (MICDA) and has served on several not-for-profit boards and advisory committees.

He is currently a non-executive director and Chair of the UNESCO-linked Mornington Peninsula and Western Port Biosphere Foundation.

He has been a passionate advocate for the environment over many years. He derived great satisfaction providing pro bono services to the World Wildlife Fund (WWF) for several years.
During this, he contributed to significant campaigns like the establishment of the Southern Ocean Sanctuary for Whales, tiger preservation in India and the Australian end of WWF’s global Sustainable Fisheries project.

An enthusiastic kayaker and photographer, he takes full advantage of living on the Mornington Peninsula, where he is a keen advocate of sustainable development that is sensitive to the region’s great natural attributes.
