Dr Angie Bone Board Member

Angie is an Associate Professor of Practice in Planetary Health at Monash Sustainable Development Institute, Monash University. She is a senior Public Health Physician originally from the UK, with extensive experience in responding to the health effects of high impact weather, researching effective measures to reduce health risks and increase population and health service resilience, and promoting sustainability in all its forms.

She brought this knowledge to her role as the former Deputy Chief Health Officer for Environment in Victoria. She is passionate about promoting optimal and equitable human health, without harming, and indeed restoring, the natural systems on which our health depends.
