Doctors for the Environment Australia and Healthy Futures co-hosted a meet the candidates forum in Warnambool, focussing on health and a changing environment.
Discussions focused on health, including the health impacts of extreme weather events facing the region such as droughts, bushfires, heatwaves, and coastal erosion.
Dr Seung Baek, a GP and DEA member, was one of the facilitators of the event, "It's not just direct access to healthcare, but how we can structurally support the readiness of the community for disasters like this."
