Doctors for the Environment Australia is challenging the $12 billion project, part of the company's Burrup Hub plan, in the Federal Court of Australia.
The group argues that Woodside's court submission misinterpreted NOPSEMA's reasons for approval, and that greenhouse gas emissions should be evaluated against environmental performance outcomes and control measures.
