Jode Cowie Digital and Membership Manager

Jode grew up within the environmental, animal welfare and social justice movements. Initially working in volunteer and retail positions with organisations such as The Wilderness Society, Jode then transitioned to administration roles where she discovered the joy of data management and website design whilst working with Waterkeepers Australia and Environmental Justice Australia. 

An ongoing passion for art and creativity then lead her and her partner to open a short term multi-media artist store that supported over 100 artists from around the world, giving many a chance to exhibit and establish themselves as professional artists.

Although the world seems in a precarious place, lessons and insights from previous times and well as her communications with members and supporters continue to keep Jode feeling positive about the world's future. And in quiet moments Jode enjoys sewing, macramé, learning Welsh, good coffee and creating a bee friendly garden.
