Becoming a financial member of Doctors for the Environment, Australia means you will:
DEA is a Deductible Gift recipient
DEA has received Endorsement from the Australian Taxation Office as a 'Deductible Gift Recipient' (DGR). Hence any donations to the DEA Fund and most of your annual subscription are fully tax deductible.
Membership Fees
DEA now has a three tiered fee structure agreed to at the 2008 AGM. Ordinary Membership is $150 pa whilst students pay only $10. Members who are retired, junior hospital doctors and those members on low incomes are offered a 50% reduced membership of $75. From the membership fee of $150, $50 will be allocated to general revenue and $100 will be allocated to the DEA Fund (tax deductible).
Donations
Any amount in excess of the annual membership paid as a donation will go to 'The DEA Fund' (ABN # 80 178 870 373) and is eligible for tax deductibility.

If you wish to receive an abridged version of our monthly news bulletin but do not wish to financially support DEA at this stage please do not continue.
Rather, email admin@dea.org.au stating your email address (if different to the one you are mailing from) and that you wish to be placed on our correspondence list.
